Welcome Note
I will give it a shot and drop this welcome note. Shout-out to you all readers out there viewing this page from your pc and mobile devices. Thank you. Now that you have successfully landed in my zone, read, relax, and enjoy the mood. You think you have got something interesting to tell me, drop me a note. Keep it real.
Few words about me – I was born in New York (go Yankees, yea!) with Azerbaijani roots. It is a pain to not love Azerbaijan. Moved around enough to get exposed to the cultural contrasts. This slightly makes me multicultural, I guess. More on that later. I am an alum of the College of William & Mary, Class of ’12. I have since embarked on an unconventional path to explore life from business to arts. I engage in a plethora of things. But, I get addicted too. Writing. Boating. Sculpture. Good food that sings opera. You name it. I think I have made it so far, but there’s more to live for.
I believe that culture’s role in the formation of common-sense intelligence is crucial. Experiences guide us through turbulences and we lean on sagacity to define our actions. Feelings can be deceptive, but they can reflect our intentions. Inner drive and observation shape our vision. Adding differences in culture or mentality to the matter creates fire. Tiny elements are powerful enough to create or solve big problems. Think about it, the same nature over the border houses souls insanely different than us. To me, it is beautiful yet amazing. Organic differences let us create realms that collide or collaborate with each other. Thus, compilation and connection of personal, cultural, observational experiences have dragged me into portraying moments from different environments. OK, forget about philosophy. My philosophy is no philosophy. Create your moment and react to it. This space is my reaction to moments.
– Evren. Pleasure to meet you!
